Bell Selects DTS to Provide Design for Exportability Support for the V-280 Valor and 360 Invictus

Bell Helicopter (Bell) selects Defense Trade Solutions (DTS) to provide professional services in design for exportability and technology release support to position the V-280 Valor and 360 Invictus for international direct commercial sales (DCS) and foreign military sales (FMS).

Bell’s V-280 Valor is a candidate for the U.S. Army’s Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) and the 360 Invictus is a candidate for the U.S. Army’s Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA).  Both programs are part of the larger U.S. Army Future Vertical Lift (FVL) initiative to bring in new aircraft as the service phases out its UH-60 Black Hawks and AH-64 Apache attack helicopters.  “It is an honor to be selected by Bell” says Steven A. Casazza, Vice President of DTS.  “And the ability to be part of enabling the export of the next generation of helicopters to our allies and partners, while ensuring critical technology remains protected is the real privilege in this contract.”

Headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, Bell (https://www.bellflight.com/) as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Textron Inc., has strategic locations around the globe to deliver exceptional aircraft experiences efficiently, reliably, and above all, safely.  Bell was the first to break the sound barrier and to certify a commercial helicopter.
